The DTES Writer’s Festival runs from May 22 - 25! Get out on the streets of the DTES and read some great stories along the way. Follow the Story Walk map and view photo-stories from the book A Different Eye. Neighbourhood Photography and Writing by the Kids of East Van by the Writers Exchange. The stories will be posted in windows along Hastings St during the festival and the following week. You can join the kick-off event at VPL nə́c̓aʔmat ct Strathcona branch on Friday May 23rd or just grab a map and do a self-guided tour.
